What a day this past Wednesday! It was a whirlwind but super awesome. Let me give you a little background of this podcast before I jump right in.
I was scheduled to get on a Zoom call and join Susan @Entrepreneurmoms for a podcast all about hashtags but right before getting on the call, I walked outside to check on our chickens. Yes, we have 6 (well 5 now) hens that are our pet chickens! (just a side note: chickens are one of the easiest pets to have and they pay rent hahaha....they give you eggs!) So I go outside to check on them, collect eggs, and all and one was missing. I started searching and then found one of my hens dead. Talk about detrimental! Immediately I was upset and calling my husband. I'm not good with dead animals, burying things, or anything like that. It was 10 minutes before my call too. I had to go to the Lord and just ask Him to help me through this podcast interview and calm me and give me the right words to say.
Needless to say I jumped on the Zoom call and God once again helped me pull through. Was I super nervous and still sad from that sad event beforehand? YES, of course! Susan helped me be at ease and what is so awesome is that it was on a topic I love talking about.....HASHTAGS! I know, I know....I'm a dork! But hey hashtags are kinda a big deal.
The interview went excellent and I'm super happy with how it went. I'm also so excited to hear it in person as soon as it's out. I'll share once it's ready for you to see and hear too. Now with that practice and some tips from Susan, I think it may be time for me to start a podcast soon or for the time being....get on some more podcasts! It was so awesome!
