5 Ways You Can Better Your Business During This Quarantine

Are you getting tired of being home, maybe feeling a little bored? As a business owner, we are pretty much going all the time but this quarantine has forced many to slow down a bit. I know for me it's given me the time to some slowness to concentrate on some business ideas I have during this time of being at home and limited activities. I'd like to share some business ideas during this quarantine that can help your business for the future!

1. Start a business journal- I absolutely love journaling down my future dreams and ideas. It's a great way to stay focused. I like the Rachel Hollis Start Today Journal (especially the Philippians 4:13 one) where I write down 5 things I'm grateful for that particular day, 10 dreams I made happen (your write as if they have already happened), and the one dream you are going to achieve first.

2. Learn a new skill or platform- take this slower time to learn a new skill whether that's getting better with your writing, doing hashtag research, or learn a new social media platform like LinkedIn or Pinterest. I'm taking this time to focus on a new skill and that's creating courses and can't wait to share more with you all. SO SO excited for courses! So many endless options when it comes to a new skill or platform to learn at this time!

3. Get organized- this is a great one! Whether that's your books for finances or how about that desk or work space. I'm trying to do this too! Got some file folders and trying to file per client as well as all my business ideas in a central location. Who knew I'd have so many odd papers and sticky notes? (just saying, this can also flow into other areas of your life besides your business like your home. It's a great time to start cleaning out and organizing that closet too!)

4. Devote time to go LIVE on Instagram and/or Facebook- why not practice and get more confident in talking about your business with others, sharing tips, doing a tutorial or demo, or just checking in with your followers? While everyone is mostly at home and on their phones or computers (can't you tell with internet speeds being slower!) reach out to them!

5. Follow up with clients/customers- check in on your people! See how they are doing and if they have been impacted. Offer a prayer to them! I really think it's important to check in on those people who have helped put you in business and pray for them. We all can be cheered up with a simple "Hello, you have been on my mind and just wanted to check in on you!". Am I right?

I hope these tips will help encourage you to take action in yoru business in some creative ways so you can help break up the boredom and do something that lead to results too!

Let me know if you have any questions as I'd be happy to help! Stay healthy and safe my friends!
